I get 60% of my salary, but not deduct anything that ends up being on the same amount it normally receives.
Everything depends on their employers Disability Insurance Co. For me it was 40% of income (the amount of one U.S. dollar and a dream).
If you still have time to pay accumulated, and that your employer offers the opportunity to use the first PTO. They get their salary until the PTO is exhausted, then the top of your short-term disability, and you have a yard.
I think it may depend on your employer. I am 80% of my salary while I was on the short-term disability. If I remember correctly, had to be paid only up to 5 days without leave. Since the assurance States and conduct research before hand, so you plan accordingly.
